December 8th may have been DJ Nicolo's first appearance at Trade-LA, but he has been a member of "the Trade Collective" for three years now, playing at the world famous Trade Turnmills in London. From choreographing events to being the face at the door of Trade in London, he is now at the place that he feels is the very heart of the club - behind the decks! It has been a really interesting course of events that led him to becoming the DJ at the very same venue where more than half a decade ago, he held his 21st birthday party.
From West-end boy to DJ, Nic's no stranger to the spotlight. Seven years has seen Nicolo in music videos, on television, in musical theatre in London's famed West End, and choreographing concerts; now he also steps up to the decks at super trendy spots like London's Denim, Shadow Lounge, and of course Trade. With both vocal and dance training, expect to see just as much from him as you hear!
While in the U.S., Nicolo has been featured at God's Kitchen and After Hour Power, and is thrilled to be returning New Years Eve for Trade: Beyond Heaven + Hell at the Hollywood Palace. Along with Nicolo, Lisa German, Dawna Montel, Peter Ward, Franco Munoz, Ruff, Chris McKoy, and others, will be taking you on a journey from heaven to hell and back again.
Trade will premiere it's newest bi-monthly afterhours "t-lite" with a New Year's Day Tea Dance (held at the space formerly occupied by PROBE, now known as A.D.
Although I will be halfway around the globe, I remember that L.A. is the place where much of the rest of 6 billion people in the world would love to celebrate their New Year. And as thrilled and proud I am to be part of Los Angeles, Nicolo is thrilled and proud to be here on New Year's for Trade. And as he promised softly, he is planning on giving LA the THRILL right back.
